It was only a matter or time before NYC's resident vintners
- Robert Ransom and Susan Wine, owners of the two Vintage
New York stores - paired their bottles with food. The
two have opened Vintage New York WineBar, a bilevel space
with overlooking the Soho shop, where the're pouring 200
local wines by the glass. Co-owner Wine has crafted a
menu of vino-friendly tapas with a local bent: Long Island
duck confit (pictured), Old Chatham Ewe's blue cheese
souffle and New York cheesecake drizzled with raspberry
wine. Design your own flight or try the daily wine special
for just $5. 482 Broome Street at Wooster St (212-226-9463).
