Ros„ has come a long way since the days of cheap
Lancers in a ceramic bottle. These wines are of the sophisticated
style extolled by the French in their fabulous wines of Provence
and d'Anjou, but with a decidedly New York twist. And what wine
captures the essence of February and Valentine's Day (and looking
forward to Springtime) more than the fresh, fruity flavors, and
crisp acid balance of these delicious pink sippers?
Long Island
A truly complex and delicious blend of Pinot Blanc and Merlot, this refreshing
and delightful Rosé is fruity, dry, yet not too austere.
Lake Rosé
Long Island A delicate Ros„ wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
The balance between the subtle acidity and the fruit flavors gives
this wine a crispy, fresh finish, with hints of cherry and blackberry.
Long Island
Salmon colored, citrus and rose petals in the nose, ripe berries
and citrus flavor. Nicely balanced fruit and acid.
Cabernet Sauvignon has become a remarkably steady
and consistent performer in New York. At its best Cabernet Sauvignon
produces wine of great intensity and depth of flavor. New York Cabenets
tend to be leaner and more elegant (actually, more French) than
their powerful, alcoholic cousins from California. These more delicate
tannins and evident acidity make them excellent food wines and eminently drinkable.
Long Island
This vineyard site has one of the longest growing seasons on Long
Island, giving this wine ripe berry fruit flavors with a nice balance
of tannin and flavors.
Long Island
Aroma and flavors of cassis (black currant), black cherry and cedar
combine elegantly, with firm tannins.
Finger Lakes
Subtle raspberry and a hint of oak, nicely
balanced between fruit and acidity with well integrated tannins.
One of the
great things about blush wines are their inherent un-complicatedness.
Just sitting Back to previous page and sipping these semi-sweet
drinks will remind you of summer afternoons and Back to previous
pageyard Bar-B-Q's, and absolutely eradicate the Mid-winter blues.
Hudson Valley
Distinct aromas of fresh cut flowers, apples and strawberries combine
harmoniously with the bursting flavors or peaches and tropical fruits.
Much more flavor than the typical white "zins." Residual sugar:
3%
Finger Lakes
Blend of Concord, Delaware and Baco Noir. Bright crimson with vanilla
and strawberry aromas. Sweet fruity flavors balanced with the wine's
acidity.
Residual sugar: 7%
Long Island

well-balanced, taste and finish. Ideal for sipping or to serve with
spicy food.
